Review of Momma Cherri's Soul Food Shack

The wait just wasn't worth it 
Like many, we went to see what all the fuss was about.
2 adults, 2 children, we went for a 10-dish, Soul in a Bowl. The first part came reasonably quickly and was fabulous. An hour later, we were seriously considering leaving for anywhere close, when the main parts finally arrived. I guess it had been ready for some time because it was barely warm. We were disappointed beyond belief!!
We'd travelled from the Midlands to Brighton for the bank holiday festival and admittedly it was busy, but that's neither a fair excuse nor a good enough reason for slow service and cold food. But I've read the other reviews (3 so far, from people who have written far more than me), so I'm prepared to go back to Momma Cherri's when we go back to Brighton.
Get it working guys, I can see how fantastic it probably could be.

Review of Pizza Express Restaurants

"Can we have 2 tables of 4 please?" 
The Friday experience at Pizza express starts with an afternoon call to the restaurant with those immortal words. One table for the children and one table for the adults. The children are looked after, so we're happy and the adults are looked after so the children are good.
I agree with Richard P., the staff are quick and friendly and the atmosphere is great. Oh, and the wine's not bad either. I think we've sampled every starter, pizza and salad on the menu, so that says a lot about the food.
A great place for families, for couples, for friends, or if you just want to pop in by yourself.
