Review of Waitrose

Mmmm Chocolate....
Waitrose sells food... If you thought that was it you'd be wrong.
This has a great selection of the finer things in life especially Desserts and Wines.
Medium size store with enough selection to fill your fridge and occasionaly free samples of yummy things.
Highly recommended when you fancy splashing the cash on your weekly meat and two veg!

Review of Bluewater Shopping Centre

Ma-hoo-sive
This place was a haven for me when at university as it was the closest all-in-one place around.
If you have a budget expect to blow it as this place has every piece of clothing you could imagine! It could do with more techy gadget type shops but the choice is great.
There is even a Krispy Kreme!
Recommended for all you consumer needs!

Review of Hamleys Of London

Still as fun as ever!
OK I'm not exactly the target audience for this store but still pop along when I need a cheer up.
5 floors of toys, games, babies stuff, gadgets, etc... With the staff who all belong in an insane asylum!
Great fun with or without your kids (but don't tell anyone!)

Review of Odeon Wimbledon

HD spectacular
I live in South London and make an effort to go here for any big budget films i.e. I watched all Lord of the Rings and Matrixes here.
The reason for this is the HD screenings they have. It is a great experience and has HD sound too! Like watching a 18 ft plasma screen.
The cinema itself is pretty standard but there is parking if it helps...

Review of Rock Bottom

Rock Haven of my Youth!
From the picture this store looks to be having a face lift but in my mid-90's Grunge fest I went to this place almost daily.
New sparkly guitars, old moody guitars, a drum room and every accessory you can think of makes this place a musicians haven. The smell of strings and varnish takes me back to when I had high hopes of being Kurt Kobain!!

Review of National Portrait Gallery

Bit of it all
This amazing gallery loctaed on Trafalgar Square has portraits of everyone from King Henry I to Blur. Including Andy Warhol's work and occasionally the odd masterpiece (Van Gogh et al)
It is a great way to soak up a bit of culture without spending a whole day doing it (which you can)
It is a huge place but also has some unknown artisits which adds to the charm...
I pop in occasionaly at lunch and wonder round. It is upto you if you wish to donate with no pressure at all from the staff who also certainly know there stuff

Review of Nandos

Nandos on Chandos
This Nandos serves chicken... is what you expect to here from a review about this chain but this one is different.
It has been converted from a funky bar so the layout is pretty odd and adds to the charm with dark boothes and big tables. It is a different way of enjoying the chicken which as always is great!
A nice place to eat before a night out!

Review of Scotts Sandwich Bar

Lunch time Dynamo
OK who can really get excited about a sandwich shop?! Although this place does the best Salt Beef around. It just falls apart and is very tasty.
Fast sometimes friendly service. The things offered are pretty much what you'd expect but the sandwiches are huge and always hit the spot.
