Review of The Bull

The Bull
Went for lunch in some intrepidation as looked expensive and in expensive housing area on the Thames but on the Saturday lunch time when we went it was out of this world. We had a choice of 2 courses for £10 which also included a small glass of white wine or orange juice. We both choose starters and main course. I had a tomato and goats cheese tart it was great followed by leek and pork sasages in onion gravey. Husband had summer soup which is a warm but not hot soup made with cruncy fresh vegetables, followed by Ham a duck egg and chips. The ham was nice and thick and the best he had ever tasted. A very pleasant experiance and look forwards to going again, the food is GREAT

Review of Cirencester Park Caravan Club Site

Excellant Standard
Caravan club sites are always very good standard and this site is no exception. Toilet block is clean and there is a play area for children. very large and spaced out campsite with palney of spaces, however gets booked up so you may be unlucky if you call in on spec. The only sad thing is that the caravan club does not allow tent campers even pup tents are not allowed. My only grip is that you can have a caravan, large awning and a large vehicle but campers are not allowed pup tents. Good position you can walk into the town via the park if before it closes. can walk back the road way so your route will not be blocked.

Review of Camping & Caravanning Club Salisbury

A Great Location
Situated on the edge of very large sports field. At the other site of the field is an English Heritage site of "Old Sarum" which is walkable or can go in car. You can walk to the town centre through the bottom of the field and along along the footpath which brings you right into town. Although about a 25 minute walk it is pleasent as parts are along the river bank. In the town many palces to vist besides the shops. Great camp site very clean toilets and well mown grass and very helpful staff. They will even get you a paper for the next day if you pay and book before 5.00pm the previous day. The reception sells icecreams and some other goods including free range eggs. Also they will provide you with leaflets or information about the area.

Review of Burford Garden Co

A Special Garden Centre
This is a great garden centre with a diiference. Very large areas of goods to look at including plants. They also have a great range of wooden buildings on site. we have had a large cabin for over 10 years and although it has been re- felted once and needs to be done again the structure is fine. The cafe found to be a bit expensive although the cake was good.

Review of Finkley Down Farm Park

Great Place for Kids
This is a good place to go but really need a dry day. Children love looking at the animals and sitting otn the "real" tractors. Lots of play equipment to climb on, over and under although a favorite is driving the toy tractors, bikes etc in a straw bale circuit. The only thing as at the end of the season some do not ride well. They have rabbit holding sessions which also proved a great sucess. Take a picnic, make a day of this, although there is a cafe there.

Small Shop
this is a small area shop but then they only sell a limited number of items so plenty big enough. Usaully have one or two items at half price. Good quality and very nice rugby shirts.

Review of Headley Mot & Service Centre

Good Tyre Price
Never had an MOT here but always go for tyres. They are competatively priced and usually the best price in the area. If going Saturday morning go early as a queue builds up later. Good idea to check tyres in stock especailly if not common tyres.
