Great Cocktails 
This place is a great place for cocktails and I've been here before just for drinks, even if I'm not coming in for food. The bar is huge so the service is fast and the staff are really friendly. It is just a chain so the food is pretty standard but I have never had a bad meal here.
It's difinately worth a try if you fancy some All American in basildon!

Better burgers 
I'm not really a meaty so I think that this review may be slightly tainted. I really like Ed's Diners, I like the theme and the menu and deco is fun. The veggie options have increased over the years and I always find something I like.
I would recommend the Atomic Fries, me and my other half love sharing these and having a drink if we are going out to the pictures in the area. Worth a try but it is still fried food and if you can trek a little further try The Diner in Old Street.

Teens Dream
I know this place is a chain but around in these parts sometimes its nice to get something like this. I use to come here in my teens with my girlie friends when we would pretend to be grown up. we would giggle at the waiters in their silly outfits and always order far too much food.
This is a fantastic place to get ice cream sundays, even if they are a little expensive. I would recomend this for any group of teens or even families. The food is generally really yummy and the service lovely.

Review of The Diner

Great First Date place
I have been here a few times but the first was on a first date, I was not only impressed by the tasty food and service but really liked the lay out of the restaurant.
The kitchen is open so you can see them cook your meat and you get to sit in fun booths that haven't yet lost their novelty value to me.
The food is quite pricey for what it is but you have to pay for quality. The menu is good but Veggies be warned, its a little quite on the option side.
