Review of Vale Vets

Purrrr-fect
My cat cries all the way to the vets. He hates cars, and when he goes onto the table he always has sweaty paws.
However, all of the staff here do their best to put him at ease - and are always genuinely interested in his health.
Not only are the staff excellent, but the facilities are really good too.
The last time I went they gave me toothpast. It is fish flavour. I have yet to try it myself.

Distinctly average
This was more like English food wrapped in a tortilla.
Whilst the staff were great, the food itself left a lot to be desired. It's OK for something a little different, but if you're after a good Mexican meal, you might be better off using one of those kits from a supermarket.

A lot better than it looks
This is a suprisingly good Italian in the heart of Gloucester.
I was initially put off by the exterior (note the fake marble bust in the photo), but the menu more than made up for it.

Review of La Tasca Restaurant

A little bit different
Even though this is part of a chain, they really encapsulate the Spanish atmosphere. The menu offers a wide variety of tapas... so the down side is it can take you a long time to make up your mind. The food is pretty good, but I found it is the service that lifts this restaurant above its rivals. Our waiter was fun and entertaining.
Certainly worth a visit

Full of great pressies
Nailsworth has loads of great little shops with fantastic gifts - and this is one of the best.
The staff are incredibly helpful and every time you visit there is something new to see.
Frod unique cards to novelty trinkets, they've got loads to offer.

Review of The Dilraj

The best curry house in town
OK - so there are only two curry houses in Dursley, but this is by far my favourite.
The menu is pretty standard - with all the popular dishes, but I have never had anything that I haven't thoroughly enjoyed.
Fine for families in the early evening, but understandably things get a little more lively once people start leaving the pubs.

Review of Tudor Arms

Tudor Arms
Known locally as The Patch, this is a great pub and a really good restaurant.
They offer a thorough menu with all the classic dishes (alongside a few suprises).
The fact it's right by the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust means it's good for a daytrip, and beside the canal it's a pretty outlook in all seasons.
