Great pub 
From the owners of The Rye Hotel beside Peckham Rye, The Mansion is a welcome addition on the Gipsy Hill/Dulwich border. A gothic exterior gives way to a byzantine sumptuously kitsch interior. The food menu is good with great burger fare and thai options (although not as nice as the Rye Hotel). The staff are great expecially the French bar man who is always friendly and engaging. Large beer garden at the back is sparse. Wine menu is sufficiantly wide, the Meursault, Viognier and Gewurtztraminer being highlights.
Easily the best pub for miles around.

A real gem in Dulwich
I'm a local and I've been going here for the past 5 years. It is a great place to go and relax. It's normally filled with familes, couples and friends and is very informal. The staff are nice some of which have been working at this branch for a long time. Despite the occasisonal lapse in customer service/attention to detail this is one of the best local eateries going in London. You would never know it's a chain except for the name.
