Avoid 
OK if you're a trucker who hasnt stopped for 8 hours, and just needs something to eat, but other than that, not nice. Food is cheap but quality pretty poor. Don't take your Nan there!

good local 
It's been a few years since I've been there, but the St Johns was always a well run and well visited local pub in what is a tiny village. Food was always good, as was the beer. Ladies darts night is always a laugh to watch!

Dingles 
Dingles is a major department store in the middle of Plymouth City Centre. What's nice about Dingles is the fact that it's not a major chain store like everything else is these days. Still probably second fiddle to Debenhams though!

The Hoe Cantonese is in my opinion one of the best Chinese restaurants in Plymouth. At times they do an all you can eat buffet, and their range of dishes is fantastic. Nice location too.

Childrens nursery
Just Learning is a modern and spacious Childrens Nursery near to the Cedars Park development in Stowmarket. Our son goes there, and we have found them to be really flexible and accomodating on what days and times he attends. They also accept Nursery Vouchers, which are tax deductable.

Volkswagon
Barnards is Stowmarket's Volkswagon main dealer. I've used them twice and been really impressed with both the service levels and the price for the repairs. Theyve got my car in really quickly, and the bill was less than I expected. Great news!

Through the other side
Capital Radio has had a bit of a tough time in recent years, and as peoples expectations of it are so high, it has to be doubly as good to impress. I'm glad to say that it's firmly on it's way there. Great to have Denise on with Johnny at Breakfast, and the music makes you feel good

Landlords are the best
Landlords Ally and Michelle are the best possible hosts, and are I'm sure giving this olde pub a fresh lease of life. There's always something going on, whether it's a Curry night or Live Music. Make sure you give The Bullers a go

Alive and well
Hospital Radio Plymouth has been going since the Sixties, and continues to provide both great radio for hospital patients, and great people into the broadcasting industry. I started out there when I was 14, and one day, I hope to go back.
