Great Breakfasts! 
This place was a saving grace when re-doing our home in HACKBRIDGE - great sandwiches made any way you like. Nice family run business. This is a pretty average cafe, but the folks who own it are friendly and the price and service is great.

Would reluctantly go through Stansfield Again 
While these real estate agents didn't jump through any hoops to secure our property - they were reliable in terms of showing up for appointments and returning phonecalls. Our house was done in a closed bid situation after the house in question had gone to probate. Communication was not as transparant as we had hoped, but it wasn't enough to put us off them completely. Would reluctantly go through Stansfield again - though think they should address their website.

Best Italian Around - OH YEAH! 
Oh YEAH! That's all I can say about this fine establishment - This place absolutely ROCKS! Food kicks butt, service is UNBELIEVABLE and this place is uber accommodating when it comes to children. The main waiter here is absolutely hysterical - and should probably avoid large doses of caffeine and illegal drugs (crack/cocaine most notably) - his catch phrase is OH YEAH which is said at such a high level and in such a lovely Italian Accent - you can't help but have a great time when you are in this establishment. God forbid you are around for a birthday - metal plates start flying around the room, the lights begin to Flash and the volume goes up a notch. Check this place out its FAB!

Excellent Food but EXTREMELY pricey 
This restaurant is one to be saved for special occasions - or to impress a first date - as a meal in this restaurant will set you back quite a bit of dosh... The food is superb here, but at the prices they charge you would certainly hope so. One Grilled Tiger Prawn cost £7.50 the last time I was here & I ate 3 (and this was just a starter)! This italian restaurant has daily specials on top of a standard menu, and has a fine selection of seafood - which is a real bonus - plus an equally fine selection of wines. The atmosphere is charming, the lighting is fantastic - and thankfully because of the pricing you won't have to book - this place never fills up and will accommodate children....

Great Steak and no-frills
What wonderful steaks served at this hole in the wall along Croydon's "Restaurant Row!" These guys know the difference between Rare and WELL Done something that can't be said for most of the steak joints in Merry Old. The kicker is you pay for that knowledge - prices are a bit high at this restaurant and the decor is in need of some serious modernisation, but if what your after is Great Steak and no-frills - you've found the right place.

Best Thai on the High Street
Siam Orchid offers the best Thai on Carshalton's High Street - a small intimate restaurant with good lighting and great ambiance, Killer food and a super accommodating staff - this makes for a great date place. This is a family run business whom even offer Cooking Classes at £20 a head - (during off peak hours) provided you can guarantee the turn-out.... Check it out its FANTASTIC!

Highstreet Thai
This restaurant is located on the High Street of Carshalton, with good food and good service. This is a great place to have parties and is a big enough space to accomodate larger groups. The decor is pretty standard, and the lighting is a bit bright, but overall this is a great place for a sitdown meal.

Killer Staff, Killer Food
This restaurant is hands down my favorite Thai eatery in the area. Food is authentically Thai - and a wide variety of dishes is always on the menu. Staff is extremely accommodating for both big and small parties, and kids are made to feel extremely welcome... Decor is pretty bog standard, but the lighting is good and general ambience is very nice. Every time I have been this restaurant it's packed - also a very good sign...

Good Food!
This place definately feels more like a restaurant than any pub I've ever been to, but the food is absolutely top notch. Downside here is in serving hours - kitchen seems to close pretty early during the week for such a bustling area... 9pm was pretty standard on a Tuesday evening. No real ale was the other thing that I seemed to remember , but establishment clean and staff very helpful.

Clean, nice, friendly watering hole
....With Chatty Bartenders and a lively clientele... This pub overlooks Carshalton's Ponds. Haven't tried the food in this establishment, but would be comfortable bellying up to the bar as a woman on my own here - this is a good sign. Decor on inside is lovely and reflects outside.... Clean, nice, friendly watering hole....
