Good Food! 
This place definately feels more like a restaurant than any pub I've ever been to, but the food is absolutely top notch. Downside here is in serving hours - kitchen seems to close pretty early during the week for such a bustling area... 9pm was pretty standard on a Tuesday evening. No real ale was the other thing that I seemed to remember , but establishment clean and staff very helpful.

Clean, nice, friendly watering hole 
....With Chatty Bartenders and a lively clientele... This pub overlooks Carshalton's Ponds. Haven't tried the food in this establishment, but would be comfortable bellying up to the bar as a woman on my own here - this is a good sign. Decor on inside is lovely and reflects outside.... Clean, nice, friendly watering hole....

What a Dump! 
What a Dump and What a SHAME - as this is such a lovely looking pub on Carshaltons High Street. Tables outside and live music are the only things going for this place, but the inside decor leaves loads to be desired - as does the uber inattentive staff. Food here is also a dissapointment - Skip it if you can and head to one of Carshalton's other eating establishments.

Perfect Sunday Afternoon Pub
This is a fantastic pub, with excellent food and plenty of accommodation it is a must visit if passing through Carshalton. Situated just across the road from the ponds and conservation area of Carshalton, this pub is both charming and picturesque. The pub management recently changed hands this has served to only uplift a good environment to an even better one. Another bonus is that this pub is child friendly (or at least the restaurant is)! This is great news if out looking for the right spot for a Sunday Roast and a walk around Carshalton's Picturesque Village.
