Stands out in Brick Lane 
Went here with large group of friends recently - great food, very good service, especially given how busy the place was on a Friday night). Much better than a lot of the places in the area are now.

Tasty Turkish Food
Usual range of Turkish food and drinks, food cooked from fresh to order and not expensive.
Good variety of veggie options.
Be warned, servings are huge - you'll need to walk around Abney Park afterwards to walk if off a bit!

Country pub with all you need 
Great pub for either just a drink (inc. real ales) and/or food.
Food ranges from quick but tasty snacks through to full 3 course meals.
Large patio outside with views almost to Basingstoke across the valley.

Good country pub
Old rural pub - good for quality food, drink and atmosphere.
Small garden to enjoy in the summer.
Tends to get very busy Fri/Sat/Sun evenings so you need to book those.
