Southampton's Friendliest Live Music Venue 
Everytime I've been to The Brook it's delivered, both as a venue and in terms of what the artists on stage provide. They host national and international Blues, Rock, R'n'B, Tribute, Funk, DJs, Indie and many other styles of music. Something fot everyone at reasonable prices for tickets.

Brilliant for the kids 
This place is an excellent place to take the kids for a couple of hours. The maximum age is 12 years old, they cater for young babies so its a great place for the youngsters to make friends and have a good run about in a safe environment. while the kids are running about you can keep an eye on them from the cafe, where they do lovely cooked food. I also found their prices very reasonable.

Ride the Rapids 
The Rapids last year a a major refurb, Providing a brand new gym, the pool hasnt changed much over the years, Its a good safe place to going swimming with the family. But i feel they could of done something to the swimming pool to bring it up to date. On the other hand if you are just after the gym, This is a great place to go as it is out of the town and provides plenty of equipment to give you a full body work out

A taste of the Mandarin
This is a lovely family run restaurant with a lovely friendly service, Based in Crampmoor Romsey, They do a buffet menu in the week, which offers a wide range for a very reasonable price. The food is well presented without long waiting times. The food was served with a smile which you do not get in many restaurants these days. I have seen David Gower in their, so it cannot be all bad. Once you have been once, I am sure it will not be the last. It’s defiantly worth a visit
