Inedible food and very rude staff 
We will never return to Garfunkels again after a recent bad experience. The service was very slow and when the food arrived it was inedible. My good man had ordered fish and chips but the fish looked like it had been fried and re-fried several times and was solid - I mean totally rock hard, he couldn't even cut it. His chips were soggy, a horrible colour and looked like they were leftovers that had been heated up. My cottage pie was just as bad, the veg on the side was so overcooked and dull and had other food/sauce marks on it suggesting it was leftovers lifted off someone elses plate and then served up to me. The cottage pie was horrible, again it looked like it had been put together from other people's leftovers.
We couldn't eat the food and when we told the waitress she was very rude. The manager was equally as rude and said there was nothin wrong with our food and that they would not bring us replacements as our food looked edible to her. After much arguing and demonstrating that the sharper knife they brought over couldn't even cut into the rubbery fish they said they would knock the fish alone off the bill and would not let us leave until we had paid for this terrible affair.
We will never come back and would never recommend this to anyone - inedible food that was probably leftovers and re-cooked several times, poor customer service, rude manager and being forced to pay for food that was inedible and that we simply could not eat.

Review of Cutting Crew

Hairy experience....
We no longer go here and haven't been for about 10 years (if not more) due to a bad experience my mum had here. The woman cutting her hair kept speaking on the phone and chatting with other staff and customers and cutting the same bit of mums hair - when we asked if she was going to cut the rest of her hair she was rude and said she was the hairdresser not us. After questioning this a few times my mum was finally shown her hair at the back and it was awful - they had cut the back into an extremely short crop and only cut in one section of hair so everything was lopsided and to even it out she had to get an extremely short crop elsewhere which she didn't want.
She had to pay for this terrible cut which wasn't even completed and they didn't even offer to finish the job (not that she would have accepted) and no money back, products, apology or any kind of compensation was offered.

Review of Pizza Hut

Uncooked dough and no pepperoni on pepperoni pizza
Dire, dire dire - do not go here! The salad bar was horrible and the pizza was just as bad. The pizza base was still dough and they forgot to put pepperoni topping on a pepperoni pizza. Staff were rude and unhelpful. Teaches me for abandoning Pizza Express that night!

Review of Red Pepper

Bring back the old Red Lion!
This used to be the Red Lion pub where generous portions of hearty, English pub grub was served. It changed hands to serve Chinese food and has changed hands again and now serves Indian food. The food I’ve had there since it changed hands from the original Red Lion has been dire. After it had changed hands the first time and was serving Chinese food we decided to give it a go and the food was disgusting - some undercooked, some obviously re-cooked several times and some clearly leftovers taken from other people’s plates – have never been back since and won’t ever go back again unless it is restored to it’s former self.

Hair in food, rude staff
A horrendous restaurant – rude staff who don’t know the meaning of customer service and very poor quality food. After arguing with staff over seating us then asking us to move and wait a further 30 minutes as they could make more money splitting our table into 2 and seating two parties instead of one, we had to wait over 30 minutes for the starters which they got wrong, a further 20 minutes for them to then bring the correct starters and then the same problems with the main meals. The main meals, when correctly brought to the table were either very burnt or very under cooked and one of our party didn’t get his main meal until everyone else’s plates had started to be cleared away. One of our party found a hair in her food and the manager told us it was the “hair from a mushroom” – when we pointed out that mushrooms do not have hairs he said “this is true” but then argued that they would provide a replacement meal that we had to pay for. We didn’t want a replacement meal and wanted to leave as soon as possible after that awful evening and had to argue to get the meal with the hair in taken off the bill. Most of us were either sick later that evening and.or had upset tums for the next couple of days. Inedible food, rude staff and a horrible experience – we will never go back again and I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone, not even my worst enemy!

Poor service, cold and undercooked food
When we saw the empty restaurant and remembered it always seems to be empty, warning bells should have rung but instead my good man and I decided to try the restaurant out – big mistake. The menu is not very unique, usual American diner type food that is done much better in TGI Fridays. The service was so slow and we had to wait ages to order and again for our food to arrive – we couldn’t understand why as the restaurant was virtually empty. When our food finally did arrive, they got our order wrong and the food was cold. The burgers were very served very rare and we had asked for them to be cooked well done. When we tried to raise this with our waitress she was very moody and almost suggested that we didn’t order their food correctly! Overpriced and poorly served food with bad service to boot – will definitely not be returning and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
