Going, going... 
Quick! Get to the Jug of Ale! It will shortly be no more as it is being knocked down, presumably to make way for yet more flats. The pub itself is fairly average but the venue up the spiral staircase has a lot of history, playing host to a vast range of local talent. It will be sadly missed!

Review of Zaffs Food Diner

Hostile atmosphere 
I went to Zaffs with a group of friends after a night out and we were attacked by what I assume were a gang of regulars. The staff finally intervened when they realised that one of my friends had a serious head wound and there was blood all over their floor. Stay away.
