Theme club and restaurant 
This is a bit of a gimmicky club, as it's done out as a rainforest. To me this is a strange theme for a club, but it's always busy so it must tick some people's boxes. There is also a restaurant, which I've never been to. The club plays mostly hip-hop and attracts a young crowd. Bit of a strange place, and just not very cool.

Review of The Jazz Cafe

Smart live music venue 
The Jazz Cafe is a bar and live music venue that attracts big names in the world of jazz, soul, funk and rnb. The space is small enough to make the gig feel intimate, and the balcony provides a great alternative view. Drinks aren't cheap, but this isn't your average gig venue; the interior is carefully designed and there's a great range of alcohol. I saw Amp Fiddler at the Jazz Cafe, and thought it was the perfect venue for a singer with a full band.

Expensive cosmetics shop 
This is a very expensive cosmetics shop, selling mostly soaps, shampoo, moisturizers and fragrance. The products are beautifully packaged, all smell great, and do what they say. However, the prices are so high that I can never justify shopping in L'Occitane.

Clothes shop
This is a high street clothes shop that sells women's clothes. It's particularly aimed at middle aged women, but also sells nice dresses that you might wear to a wedding or something similar.

Expensive but beautiful jewelry
Tiffany's is a very famous jeweler. It can be some what of an intimidating place to visit, as you feel you should have a lot more money than you do (in my case anyway!). Tiffany's sells some trademark pieces, as well as a wide range of classy rings, necklaces and earrings.

iPods and More 
This Apple store is the flagship shop in London. It sells everything from Mac Notebooks to iPod speakers. All products can be tested in store, and there is free internet. The Genius Bar sees trained staff fix iPods and other gadgets at an alarming rate. In true Apple fashion, the store is immaculately fashionable.

late night dancing in Angel
The Salmon and Compasses is a bar, which becomes more of a club in the early hours. It is hidden away at the far end of Chapel Market, so you probably wouldn't stumble upon it by accident. At the weekend DJs play a great mix of hip hop, soul and funk, and the young crowd turn the whole bar into one big dancefloor. The Salmon and Compasses doesn't have anything that makes it a 'must go' bar, apart from that it opens until about 4am on the weekends, which is a good couple of hours later than most of the bars in Angel.

Cheap shop.
This is a very strange shop. It sells different products every week; from shaving kits to snow sledges. Prices are very low. There is also a sit down coffee shop in store. How Odd.

ok bar
This bar is located in a slightly awkward place; it's not somewhere you pass when making your way through Angel. I personally don't like the decor much , I think it's a bit garish. They advertise movies, live music etc which is interesting, but possibly trying a bit hard.

Multiplex cinema
This multiplex cinema has proved exceptionally popular in Angel. The 9 or 10 screens (I can't remember exactly) show all of the latest big movies. It's very conveniently located in the N1 centre in Angel. Book ahead for weekend showings.
