Review of The Lock Tavern
19 May 07, 08:11
Trendy Camden bar
The Lock Tavern is an extremely popular bar in the Chalk Farm end of Camden. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday night it is packed out, but has a heated garden in the back which is often a pleasant relief from the crowded inside. The Lock Tavern attracts a trendy but not pretentious crowd, and by the end of the night everyone is dancing to the funk, soul and indie music provided by the DJ upstairs. The only hint of try-hard cool is the projections shown on the exposed brick walls...but after a few drinks this just adds to the atmosphere. The Lock Tavern is also worth a visit during the week, when it is a bar with a nice ambience. Oh, and get there early at the weekend - they start charging for entry later on in the evening.

Review of Army and Navy Surplus Store

Handy army surplus shop
This shop sells everything you need for an epic camping trip, or just a pair of warm gloves. I went travelling and bought a lot of the things I needed from here. The staff are exceptionally helpful. This shop is also very good value for money.

Good bike shop
This is a good bike shop, which has many branches over London. All the latest bikes are on sale, and so are all the accessories you might need. The staff are always very helpful.
