Review of Millennium Stadium

21 May 08, 16:41

One of the best 5*

One of the best stadiums I've ever been to. Seen Cup finals and charity shields here and there's not a bad seat in the place. Easy to get in and out of, helped by the fact they pedestrianise the nearby streets on match days. Brilliant for football and I'm told they play rugby here too.

Review of Power FM

Best around 5*

Always listen to Power when I'm in that neck of the woods. All the best tunes that are around at the moment and their local news is always good for keeping up to date. Can't ask for more really can you?!

Review of Bourne Engraving Co

18 May 08, 15:06

Top notch 5*

Easily the best place to get anything engraved in Bournemouth. Rings, bracelets, pens, trophies, pretty much anything can be engraved here. Run by Nigel Hedges who's a top bloke and very well up on Bournemouth town centre!

Review of San Daniele Del Friuli

Bellissimo 5*

Top notch this place. I'm told players/staff from the football club are customers here which reflects on how good the place is. Great choice of food and always very friendly and welcoming even on matchdays and busy nights when you could forgive them being a bit stressed. Easy walking distance of Arsenal tube station.

Review of Tinder Box

Tinder Tops 5*

Love this place, especially the old aeroplane seats which are worth waiting for and great to chill out with a coffee and the day's papers in. You're spolit for choice in Angel when it comes to trendy coffee shops but this is definitely one of the best ones and not the most expensive.

Review of John Anthony

14 May 08, 16:36

One of the best 5*

Customer service is probably the thing that stands out most here. If you're not sure about something they'll suggest different styles, sizes etc and one girl who was really helpful said "thin through the clothes you own already and work out how many of them would go with this" - a question I now ask myself before I buy anything. Great store with loads of big name brands and some really nice stuff.

Review of Funky Buddha Lounge

Happy Days 5*

Great place to go after a heavy night on the juice. Relaxed atmosphere with good food and some good lagers as well. A step up from some of the other places in Cathays.

Review of Henry's Bar

28 Apr 08, 18:19

Top notch 5*

A great place to start a night out with a few cocktails and also does good food. Not cheap but if you're a student you can cash in on some good offers midweek and even if you're not still a great place to go on a night out.

Review of 1812

28 Apr 08, 18:11

Get what you pay for 5*

Cliches are cliches for a reason... ie they are true. If you are prepared to pay a little more you get a better product and 1812 is a great example. Not cheap but the cocktails are great (they even make ones not on their official menu if you explain what you want) and the food is also very good. One of the best places to go in Bournemouth.

Review of Change Of Seen

Something different every time 5*

A real find. Kathy Kilburn's shop is genuinely intriguing and has something to offer everyone. You'll be hard pressed to find another shop with such a collection of original gifts in Dorset, never mind Dorchester.

A traditional, family run business, Grassby Funeral Services have long been established as the local leader in their field. Customers will find a sensitive staff who are never anything less than polite, professional and completely understanding.

Review of Sienna Restaurant

17 Apr 08, 14:42

Touch of class 5*

Small, intimate and most importantly unmatched for the quality of its food. Sienna is not cheap but the variety of dishes on offer and the friendly, welcoming service on offer from Russell and Eleana makes this a great venue for special nights out.
