Review of Daisy Cakes Bake Shop

Cupcakes and Supplies 5*

This little bake shop maybe small in stature but it's mighty in cupcakes and cake baking supplies. Don't miss it though as it is hidden in the lanes that surround Greenwich market and could easily be overlooked.

They sell the loveliest raspberry cupcakes made with fresh raspberries, both on top and in the cake. The sponge is really fluffy and the cream icing is really fresh tasting. My fellow cupcake consumer went for the jammy dodger cake and this involved a lot of jam - which was really yummy also.

The shop is very small and it can get a little busy especially at the weekend. However once inside it is filled with cakes to eat, and supplies to take away and bake with including some really unique cake cases and decorations.

The staff are really friendly and will order things in for you if they do not have it. This place has a really independent feel - where nothing is too much effort. A real treat if you are in the area.

Review of The Gourmet Burger Kitchen

Cosy Burger Restaurant 4*

I have been to this burger restaurant twice now and both times the food has been lovely. They offer a really wide variety of burgers, with lots of alternatives to beef. Both times I have had the chicken burger and they are really imaginative, unlike your usual chicken options. GBK offer chicken satay, chicken brie and cranberry and many more yummy options.

The other burgers all really imaginative as well. They do some great chunky chips and all the portions are so filling. When the burgers arrive they are of skyscraper proportions and require a knife and fork to devour. I would strongly recommend the milk shakes as they are divine Really thick and very American.

The restaurant is very small and tables are very close together, though not too close. Friendly staff, good atmosphere - this place is always so clean looking it is very reassuring.

Review of Greenwich Picturehouse

Finally a Cinema to Write Home About 4*

This Picturehouse is nestled in a quite corner of Greenwich, slightly back from the bustle of the pubs and bars on the main high street.

This cinema is very modern and incredibly clean. I love the fact that Picturehouse is a small chain - and the quality of their cinemas is really impressive.

The entrance ticket is quite hefty on a Saturday or Friday night, at £10 I nearly collapsed. However after getting upstairs to the cinema bar I soon realized why this place was so pricey. The lounge bar for pre- film drinks was delightful. Comfortable sofas and lounge chairs scattered around - all overlooking a great glass window that overlooks the street.

The prices once inside the cinema were really reasonable, two soft drinks at the bar came to £3 and the most pleasant surprise was the price of the popcorn and soft drink. £4 for a large popcorn and drink, amazing seeing as most huge chain cinema's charge anything up to £10 for the same quantities.

The screens were also of the highest quality, and the seats were divine. They were low slung and reclined back to a comfortable half laying position. I don't think I have ever been to a better, more well equipped cinema. An all round joy! Great staff and a great atmosphere.

Best thing about where I live It is very close to London. It also has a lot of has trams and trees!
Worst thing about where I live It's not London and sometimes it's scary. It also has the most boring hight street ever known to man.
