Review of Strada

The Best of the Bunch!
Out of all the Italian food chain Strada is by far my favorite. The food is always of a really high quality and no matter which one that you visit their quality is always high.
The decor is clean and stylish and makes for a really unfussy but polished dinning experience. I have sampled both their pizza and pasta offerings and both have impressed me. My favorite dish is the very simple but very effective 'Spaghetti al Ragu' this is a very well made and it always tastes fresh.
They have a good wine selection and their special wines are always worth a try. With regards to the food, the thing that keeps me frequenting Strada is the fabulous Pana cotta that comes with fresh rasberries. It is to die for!
The staff are always great and if your in a hurry it makes for a great place to have a bite. Away from some of the other more mass produced and boring Italian chains.
It is slightly more pricey than other places but well worth it in quality.

Review of Hamburger Union

Hamburger Heaven
I have been to this eating establishment on numerous occasions now and I still really enjoy their offerings. The atmosphere is clean, fresh and relaxed.
It is an ideal place for a quick meal with minimum fuss. The decor is reminiscent of early 1950's minimalism, with an American diner edge. Yes it's a chain, but it odes offer seasonal specials and the food does taste fresh.
The menu is often varied and the burgers are good quality, I rarely eat red meat - but I do enjoy a Hamburger Union burger. The chips are really chunky and can be very filling. I would recommend the milk shakes they are very yummy (especially the chocolate).
The food is served quickly, but not worryingly quick. A great place to get a quick, filling meal for a reasonable price.

Review of The Screen On The Green

Refreshing Cinema Experience
This cinema is really lovely, it is an old original picture house and it just over flows with character. The entrance hall is very small, but first impressions are not reflected in the size of the screens as they are really large. The old red velvet seats are comfy too and make for some cozy viewing. Though I fear this is because I am short anyone over 6 foot may struggle with them.
I was pleasantly surprised by the price, not anywhere near as extortionate as some of the big chain cinemas. The same can be said for the really cute selection of snacks that they sell, chocolate bars and bottled water all reasonably priced. I even enjoyed the popcorn (it wasn't warm so I thought I might not) but it was really good organic stuff.
The films that they show are really great independent quality films. So you pay your money and know your going to get something a bit better than ordinary blockbusters!
All round this place makes for a great evening, really enjoyable.
