one of the best 
situated in Fremington this beautifull chinese restaurant is very up market. The food is expensive but the standard is very high. The seoerate side rooms can be booked for private functions / parties

too close to work 
being only 2 mins walk from Lantern Fm is bad news for the local radio staff as they very regularly have breakfast brought in from Mc D,s which is quicker than geting their own at home( lazy so n so,s ). The staff are fast n friendly the premises are always clean...cheap meal for on the move people

the place to go
very high quality food in a very nice atmoshere. this place is owned by Zena and run by Tracey who have a great team of extremely polite staff . The place is spotless with probabley the poshest toilets in Barnstaple.Go and have a look for yourself !

quite a way out of town nearer to Ilfracombe but worth a visit for the good food and real ale family beer garden very old pub with lots of locals and walkers through out the year pretty village friendly locals ... no injuns !

beautifull old castle style pub right on the edge of the estuary very large beer garden excellent food served all day real ales, nice friendly staff good service right on the Tarka Trail so ideal for cyclists

very nice pub 
simon and leanne serve very good fresh cooked food their sunday lunches are great with REAL home cooked roast potatoes, fresh veg and puddings to die for. every other week there is karaoke with Nigel ...who is as gay as they come, a great laugh and does nt give a sh.. who knows . very friendly atmosphere with live bands on once a month

great pub for anyone that wants to watch sky tv play pool, darts or skittles or on the other hand have a very nice meal in the comfortable lounge bar. also a good place to hold private functions
