traditional sweets in large sweetie jars just like old times...pineapple chunks, winter mixtures, bon bons, floral gums, sherbert lemons and barley sugar and many more ! They are also a toy shop and model railway specialist shop. Also throughout the year they sell a range of Fancy dress for adults and children. A great family run shop ....FOR FAMILYS !

this used to be the place to meet your friends , have a jig to typical irish music and drink lots of guiness , but not anymore ! Irish in name only .....BRING BACK THE IRISH BANDS and we,ll all come back in !

somethings are cheaper than a pound cant get things any cheaper in town, from duster, cleaning products to gardening tools, planter to battery chargers, solar lights, microwave dishes AND MORE....opposite the Halifax in the high street

home and garden you name it they probabley sell it ! Gifts, house hold goods, garden centre, pet accassories, plants, pictures, photo frames, car accessories, ideal place to go if the weather is bad. you can easily kill an hour in here.just past north devon leisure centre

POOL TOO BUSY
plenty of facilities great wimming pool IF YOU CAN GET IN IT. as a serious swimmer it is very annoying that you cant get a good swim in the 25 mte end of the pool between 6pm and 8pm as ALL the lanes are pre-booked by swimming clubs. so no use being a full member as there isn,t even 1 lane left vacent for regular swimmers.

fantastic
just been refurbished to a very high standard. the food is amazing especially the prawn parcels and chicken spring rolls yum yum. The chinese garden terrace is beautifull and is an ideak place to have pre-dinner drinks before indulging in the food. Bet you go back for seconds !

too close to work
being only 2 mins walk from Lantern Fm is bad news for the local radio staff as they very regularly have breakfast brought in from Mc D,s which is quicker than geting their own at home( lazy so n so,s ). The staff are fast n friendly the premises are always clean...cheap meal for on the move people

Martyn has recently took over this huge old pub. Lovely old beams great character. Bars snacks served during the week and Roast Sunday lunch. First pub ever to hold an ALL AGES DISCO with NO ALCOHOL . The adults had to buy their drinks from the main bar. The Clock Tower is the name for the Restaurant upstairs which will be fantastic once they are fully functional

since being refurbished earlier this year its a great place to go. pool tables kareoke very modern bar sky tv and . clean toilets. any trouble and Tracey the bouncer (yes female and full of muscle stands for no crap) will sort out the biggest and gobbiest of blokes. Good safe fun give it a try !
