good staff... 
This is a good branch of Strada. The food is really good, nice light Italian style cuisine. The service was prompt and there is a nice atmosphere here too. What stood out for me about this particular branch was the knowledge the staff had. My friend was unsure about which pudding to have and asked a member of the staff for their suggestion; they were able to give a really good description of the qualities each one held and which they preferred. Needless to say my friend enjoyed her pudding alot and was pleased with the staffs suggestion. It was pleasant to see staff that knew their stuff than have to scurry off and ask someone else. A good restaurant...

worth the second chance...
I've been here twice, once was really good the other we didn't even get inside. The latter, I think was down to the fact that they had recently opened and were still having some problems. We went there without booking a table and were told to come back in half an hour for a table, which was fine. This half hour soon got longer and finally we went elsewhere. The most annoying thing was that there were people in the restaurant who had paid their bills but hadn't left and were just chatting but the lady on the front house was too scared to ask them to leave. This was ridiculous! However, a few weeks later we thought we would try again and this time we got a table and had a really good time. The food was super yummy and a nice change from other Italian chain restaurants. The portions were just the right size too. The service was good and pretty fast on what looked like a busy night. We even got free liqueurs at the end of our meal. I'm very glad we gave this place a second chance, good food and good service

reasonable italian... 
This is a good traditional Italian restaurant. It is very inviting with a relaxed feel; candle lit tables and nice views overlooking the town. The food is very good and of a high standard. There is a nice choice on the menu with traditional Italian meals as well as some other specials. The staff are very friendly and the service is good and fast. The prices are reasonable. A nice evening out to be had here!

Average Italian... 
One of a chain of restaurants expanding their list of premises in Sussex. Authentic italian staff serve average Italian food. The service is passable, somewhat lacking in the provision of tradition Italian condiments such as parmesan cheese. One can have just a coffee in their drinks area where the service is slightly better. The prices have recently gone up due to an overhaul of the restaurants' interiors however this money could have been better spent on well trained staff. Sometimes very quiet during the day, the evenings and weekends see the most customers visiting.

I always enjoy going to Zizi's, there is always a nice atmosphere in this particular branch. The decor has a nice Italian feel about it, without being tacky. The food is really good. The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. The staff are friendly and attentive. This branch isnt as nice as the one in nearby Whitstable. So if you are a particular fan of Zizi's I'd suggest you go to the one in Whitstable

Italian by the sea...
I always enjoy going to Zizi's, there is always a nice atmosphere in this particular branch. The decor has a nice Italian feel about it, without being tacky. The food is really good. The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. The staff are friendly and attentive. This branch has a nice outside area with plenty of seating. It is also right by the sea, which the means restaurant is in the ideal location for a nice after meal stroll

I always enjoy going to Zizi's, there is always a nice atmosphere in this particular branch. The decor has a nice Italian feel about it, without being tacky. The food is really good. The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. The staff are friendly and attentive. This branch has a nice secluded outside seating area and large glass windows making it very airy and light inside.

cheesy atmosphere, good food...
For simple, cheap, kitsch 70's Italian restaurant fare head to Pinocchios. Pinocchios has been a Bournemouth staple up atop Poole Hill for at least twenty-odd years now. I don't know anyone who hasn't eaten there at least once. (FYI - there is another branch in Christchurch, Bournemouth's prettier, more chillaxed sister.) The food is very reasonable, yet tasty. The portions are what my Nan would call,healthy, so you get a lot for your money, and the staff are friendly, Italian ex-pat stereotypes,Mamma Mia!, and,Ciao Bella!, central. Not the chicest place around, but great fun, particularly on birthday's when they crank up the crackly Italian,Happy Birthday, LP. Yes, LP, I wasn't kidding about the 70's

Review of Gino's Restaurant

plenty to eat...
Gino's is a traditional Italian restaurant. It has a cosy homely feel to it. I went here for an all you can eat buffet at lunchtime. There was a good spread and you could tell it had all been made freshly that day. There were pasta dishes as well as a selection of pizzas. The staff were attentive even though we were helping ourselves. It was a reasonable price of i think somewhere in the region of £8, which when you think you could pay nearly as much to go to a rubbish Pizza Hut. I ve also heard good things about their dinner menu and service. So if you want a little slice of Italy, this is a good place to get it...
