Review of Paper Mill Shop

much better
I spend a darn fortune in here. we have one near us , but Itry and wait till we go to Street to buy the bulk of what I need.
Paper and card is sold by a box and you pay for the box ... but the content of the box - colours, thickness, paper or card is entirely your choice. Brilliant.

Review of Clarks Factory Shop

Great brand
a great brand, but sadly most of the shoes are no longer made in this country.
I love the way this shop is set out in sizes ... you go to the size area you need, and all the shoes are there, so you dont have to ask if a certain style is in ur size. You can look yourself.
Staff tend to be a bit unhelpful

Review of Adidas Outlet

not just sport wear
initially thought this was just sports wear .. its not. Loads of fashion clothes from Fila, Dunlop etc etc . I bought Polo shirts there for a fiver - reduced from £19. Jeans from a tenner . Ladies and gents.
My boy also bought a pool cue reduced from £29 down to £8 and also a footy ball for £3.

Review of Designer Room
30 May 08, 12:58
if u can find it ....
this is a fabulous shop for designer lable junkies. Prada, CK, Tommy, Miss 60, Roxy Golddigger, Playboy ... all stupidly low prices ... mainly because they are end of ranges or stuff that other shops are left with. Sizes very hit n miss, never medium or large, always XS small and XL .

Review of Fat Face

love it
i love Fat Face. Its my fave clothing shop and I make this branch my first stop when visiting Clarkes Village. Not a huge selection to be honest, but always cheaper than the high street counterparts. Love their gents tops.

Review of Next Clearance

Avoid the high street
I will never buy from a Next shop again now that I have found the discount outlet in Clarkes Village. SOOOOOO cheap. Its huge, its all end of range and its great value. last visit 3 pairs of jeans ( £29.99) for £9 a pair. polo shirts for a fiver. Daughter stocked up on shirts, jeans and jumpers too. ONLY pain is that there is NO changing room, so u find half naked people trying on in the aisles! NICE !!

Review of Monsoon

Monsoon
Hey how much do you guys earn??? Even at the factory warehouse reduced prices, its still damn expensive in here.
Monsoon, renowned for being pricey at the best of times, at least this one is cheaper, even if it is last seasons stock.

Review of Babbacombe Theatre
30 May 08, 12:40
who owns this?
I suspect that this theatre is privately owned. Primarily because the staff actually care about the punters. Its a lovely intimate theatre - you can almost touch the players! I hope it survives for many years to come, we've seen a few productions here, including a classical group and a play or two. Decor needs updating, but hey, it all adds character

Review of Harbour Amusements
30 May 08, 12:35
much of a muchness
amusement arcades are a great way to while away a wet afternoon - and you get plenty of those in Torquay. Always enjoy the one arm bandits and the old fashioned 2p machines ... but this place has a whole lot of new machines too, including a driving simulator which was excellent
