Halloween all year round 5*

Is this place open if you dont buy tickets for the exhibition?? We went to look round the horror exhibition and the shop is at the ennd of the "show" ... seems about right. This place is a dream for those who want to take home a ghoulish souvenir .. i bought some tomb stones, skulls and some spiders for halloween.

Review of The London Dungeon

awesome 5*

i can guarantee this will scare the pants off of you. A mix of static displays and theatrical performances by suitably clad performers. Its about death and horror, theres bloody descriptions, bloody displays and bloody good fun. You never know what might be behind you so have ur wits about you .. not recommended for small kids.

Review of The Rainforest Cafe

28 Apr 08, 11:01

Mixed feelings 3*

The staff are entertaining. the setting is fabulous, the decor is outstanding. Moving elephants, chest beating gorillas, flying butterflies, snakes in the ceiling and random tropical rainstorms ... all inside! HOWEVER .. the food is basic and Very expensive. Basic burger and chips was £12.50. Meatballs ( 5 actually) and spaghetti was also £12.50. Lemonade was £3.50 a glass. Great experience but not great value.

Review of London Aquarium

28 Apr 08, 10:55

Awesome 5*

From the mini car filled with tropical fish, to the sharks you'll have a great time. You even get up close and personal to the flat fish , go on give em a stroke! While here, make sure you get yourself tickets for the London eye as well and go see the Houses of Parliament too, they are all within walkin distance

The ONLY way to see London, This is a must. Ive been on several times now and the amusement never wains. OK so a bit pricey, but hey who know how long its gonna be here? So if you get a chance to go, do. While there, get tickets to the Aquarium as well, then nip across to the Houses of Parliament. All within walking distance.

Review of Tate Modern

art 3*

art is art ... most of the exhibits in here are just plain wierd. Some would say crap, I'll be polite and say wierd. I guess people have some revelation about blocks of wood, but to, they are blocks of wood .. not lifes representation of forest life ... ITS BLOCKS OF WOOD!

Review of Living Coasts

but good 2*

For some reason I thought this was going to be an all day adventure. The TV adverts make it seem bigger than it is. The parking was a nightmare the day we went with half the carpark closed because of building work. Once inside, we found it all a bit small and cramped. Great to see the animals and birds but the clever advertising made it seem huge and it really isnt. The cafe is expensive too. Luckily the theatre was open down the road so we were able to go see Joe Pasquale once our 45 mins in the place was over.

Review of Milky Way

Out Of This World 5*

The day in the country thats out of this world. The New rollercoaster ride is a must. And there's a rollercoaster aimed at the kids too - the Big Apple with Clarence the Catterpilar at the helm. Theres Clone Zone - with real aliens, Falcomry demonstrations, Ferret show, you need at least a day here. Buy a family ticket its cheaper. Food is well priced too, too many places rip u off with food, this one doesnt

Review of Legoland Windsor Park

28 Apr 08, 10:36

Expensive 3*

Luckily I had comp tickets, else it would have cost me about £90 to get in. Once inside it was fab. Lego every where. The miniature lands are great and when you see London, look out for the Dalek and the Dr Who references for the Dr Who Invasion episode ... even a small Dalek on the side of the building , nice touch!! You must go see the cinema movies too . excellent.
