Review of Granville Garage

Once Upon A Time ...
This used to be my local garage .. god knows how Neil and his team make any money as they are always doing quick freebies. They are always busy and there can often be a day or two's wait for any major work .. but hey, Lynton's a beautiful place, whats the rush???

Review of Lynton Sheepskin Shop

There are better
This place is a shaddow of its former self. Once a thriving business making a vast array of Laether and sheepskin goods on the premesis. Sadly, chances are you wont find anything worth while to buy, which is a real shame.

Review of Exmoor Yum Yums Shop

There are better
This is a bog standard sweet shop. Usual selection of rock and sweets that every other shop in Lynmouth stocks. Nothing really special, just average. There are better sweet shops in Lynmouth street

An absolute MUST
Actually NOT 17 but 11 Lynmouth street. The Candy Shoppe has been there for years and really know their stuff. Its the only place to buy locally made fudge, candies and sweets. DONT buy fudge anywhere else until youve visited this place.

Antiques?
Great shop for old stuff, not really antiques tho, but some great collectors pieces. Some really nice old paintings and prints. Old collectable plates and coins, stamps and some really odd pieces too. worth spending an hour or so just poking around.

What do u expect
Well its a newsagent with all the usual stuff you'd expect, cigs, papers, mags, maps, books, jigsaw puzzles, OK I suppose if you're a "moor walkin, fag smokin, map reading, puzzle playin, novel lovin local"

Review of Holiday Shop

What happened??
Last time I visited this place is was an emorium of imported wood stuff, tables, chairs, patio sets, huge wood carvings etc etc. Sadly these days its just beachside junk - coconut birdfeeders and tacky beach mats. I guess they're catering for the masses these days.

Review of Caravel Gift Shops

Not Just Fudge
A shop that spreads over two shops in Lynmouth street. One side is all fudge, rock, sweets , cream, cider and biscuits. The other side is a mix of nice quality gifts and seaside tat. Im not sure the two really mix, but the place has been there for years and still owned by the same family so i guess theyre doin summat right.

Aladdins Cave of goodies
just like Aladdins cave, choca block with trinkets and nick nacks. Great for souvenirs, sticks of rock and buckets n spades. Novelty is the word with this emporium of tackyness... i love it.
