intimidating
I like this pub a lot, but sadly it always seems to be "locals only" if u know what i mean. You sorta feel like the unwanted guest at a party. The local obviously love it and it IS the hub of the community. Food is good, beer is better, beer garden is nice of an evening - mainly to escape tha glare of the other guests.

somewhere nice
I went here for a friends evening meal birthday celebration and it was really lovely. the sort of place to go for a nice meal. this is a restaurant of the highest calibre, so no jeans and t shirts here please. Its a small place with an amazing menu - no burger and chips! Real food, lovingly created by the chef. Ideal for special occasions. Worth taking someone u wanna impress

Review of Murch's Antique Emporium

good on a wet afternoon
its well worth a trip out to Umberliegh to visit this place. like a huge warehouse crammed with stuff - ok so a scattering of antiques - mainly " country" stuff like stuffed wall trophys and animal antlers and horse riding memorobilia, but I bought an old wind up gramophone from there and it was a great price too. worth a visit on a wet afternoon - kills a few hours looking round
