tacky tacky tacky 
A traditional beach shop ! woo hoo, so what do you want ? an inflatable banana? Inflatable crocodile? A hammer may be? An emprium of inflatables. Before you get to the beach pop in for something to keep the kids (and the growdy - ups) entertained. Balls, kites, inflatables, cricket sets. love it

I love theis place 
We have stayed here a few times now and its great for the whole family. The shop how ever is a bit pricey, so we have learned to take our own grocieries with us when we stay. Its a shame they can not compete with the supermarkets.

Oh come on!! 
Listen. You are at the sea side. You MUST have a go on the slot machines!! Me, I prefer spending a bag of 2ps on that machine that has the moving bar and stacks up the coins untill they all fall off .. ok a man of simple pleasures. The kids are more into the race simulators and reality ski machine! Great fun on a dull afternoon when its too cold to go to the beach ....

How long do you have?
If you stayed in woolacombe for a week and had an Ice Cream every hour ... you'd probably just about get through the flavours in this Ice Cream parlour. Every town should have a Normies! Soooo many different flavours and combinations, totally spoilt for choice. Try the Rocky Road 9 might have got that wrong) but its stuffed with mallows, biscuit, choclate and more ... hmmm

Well respested
Nick is a well respected local surfer and has won several major world wide competitions. No wonder then that he has his own surf shop. This is probably more aimed at the seasoned surfer who knows what he wants - but thats not saying Nick and his team arent helpful to everyone.

excellent
every surfer I know uses this shop. Long established and well respected. The staff ARE surfers so know what they are talking about - no bulls**t guys. If you are a surfing pro or a complete once a year novice, this is the place to go. They will advise on whats right for you and your ability and also give you the right advice about the daily surf conditions and beaches to use.

WOW ... no
This place has so much history .. they even have a myspace page. Ive seen this place evolve and change over the years. Always packed always playing the latest genre of music. Look out for the occasional live band nights and the specialist nights. Its an "upstairs" venue, with stairs that are always fun to negotiate after a heavy night on the pop.

One of the best I reckon
This has got to be one of the best chip shops in the area. if you fancy some thing other than cod ... or if ur feeling adventureous have a look at the menu borad and see what locally caught fish they have that day. Hake, Roe, Sea Bass ... go on try some thing different. Ask the staff what they have in as a special that day.

Ideal for a quickie!!
Ideal if you just want a quick snack and a drink. Good selection of sandwiches, fancies and cakes. Coffee selection is a bit basic, but hey I wasn't expecting it to be a Starbucks ! The kids went for the usual fizzies and the wife had a milk shake

You Choose
If you love your pizza then you must go here at some time. not only do you chose your own base, but you can choose exactly what you want. Personally I love Anchovies and had a double helping - much to the disgust of the kids who went for your basic pineapple, ham and cheese. Great staff, reasonable prices and more importantly ... you get what YOU want!
