Exclusively Pens 
I should have guessed from the sign above the door but this place is only good if you need to buy a pen! I was hoping for some general stationary but the choice of paper etc is limited. They do however have lots of pens from Biros to fountain pens and some really nice ones that you know would probably just get nicked.

Great for serious musicians 
This is a good place to shop for musical instruments if you are serious about your music... although to be honest it's my second choice in the Manchester area however they do have some good instruments and I'd recommend it as somewhere to find your first instrument if you're just starting to have lessons because they will give you good advice.

If you take your music seriously this place should be your first destination next time you are looking to invest in a new instrument. Well worth checking out - you wont be disappointed as they have a great selection and very knowledgable staff who are happy to help and can answer specialist questions.

Great Choice Of Violins
This is a superb violin shop - so much better to go to a specialist if you are a serious musician it is definitely worth a trip although if there is something specific you are after I would recommend phoning before you set off to avoid disappointment.

No Laughing Matter
Theres nothing funny about good food and this place does loads of really good Brit food - no fancy business just good honest yumminess so check it out. Also you can sit outside although it always seems to be really windy there so you might find your chips blow away. Was alright there this weekend though lots of bank holiday sunshine.

Not sure if this place is open to the public but for members of David Lloyd they have a really useful selection of items that you might need during your visit to the club from towels to sports drinks it's all here so look no further.

Little Smelly
Great little perfume shop which seems to be priced about the same as larger department stores however the difference is the convenience and its easy to get served here because they never seem to get particularly busy.

Alternative Therapy
Don't knock it til you've tried it - thats my philosophy - and this place is the perfect place to be introduced to the world of alternative chinese medicine. It's been working for the chinese for thousands of years so they must be doing something right. Dont be afraid, they will guide you through it if you have never experienced this sort of medicine before, from oral medication to acupuncture they do it all - bit pricey though. Should be on the nhs,
