Wax On 
The haircut I got here was excellent, in fact so good that I came back twice more. And each time it was equally good. If you are looking for something simple but fashionable you wont be disappointed with this place.

Fine hair dressers
This is one mighty fine hair dressing salon where they always make sure the floor is kept well swept and the haircuts are consistent and attractive. They did a great job of my hair and I would recommend it to everyone. Except the bald.

Nothing for men in here 
I was disappointed to only find a load of meringue shaped dresses in this shop - I guess it would be perfect if you were getting married but for me there wasnt really anything in this shop that I wanted to buy. Maybe they should stock baseball caps as well.

Not Perfect
Imperfect should be the name of this hair dressers. It was during a long period of experimentation that I discovered this place and it wasnt somewhere I ever went back to. It was one of the worst hair cuts I have ever had and it took a while for it to grow back.

Traditional Shoes 
I grew up in Clarks shoes. My mum said they were the only shoe shop who fitted you with the shoes properly so they didnt damage your feet, and I have to say my feet are now in excellent condition. I would not dream of buying shoes from here nowadays though because I feel I have moved on into a new age of style and fashion which mister clark can not keep up with.

The Plaice!
This is the business! Excellent chippy and I love fish and chips so I should know! Check out the plaice because it's to die for honestly and the chips are fried to perfection. They also do a mean sausage in batter. Check it out you wont be disappointed.

Some lovely posters
I was gutted when Athena went out of business so finding this place was amazing - they do some really good poster prints and more modern stuff than the old athena ones. Some of them are like art in fact so definitely worth checking this place out.

This is a seriously cool shop where they do so much stuff that I wish I could afford to buy its almost slightly depressing! Haha. Check out the hoodies in this place and u will be looking seriously fly... and they do accessories too so you can get some stuff to complete the look at the same time.

Slice Of Big Apple Pie
Wow! This is an authentic American Diner experience complete with the yellow mustard bottles and with loads of cool touches like American miscellania on the walls and some really nice stuff on the menu too! Including some great burgers. Not a great place if you're on a diet though haha

If you are looking for a really good local bakers you cant go wrong with this place they do the most tasty and freshly baked food I've tasted in this area and they are friendly and professional. They also wear bakers hats which is a nice authentic touch and stops hair getting in the food.

This is a very non Dodgy take away food shop - some really nice food here check out the burgers as gourmet as you are ever likely to lay your face on and some really nice well cooked chips too - definitely something for a takeaway connoiseur! Yum
