Review of No Page Unturned

Support your local bookshop 4*

This little bookshop in the Maiden Earley shopping centre really deserves a visit, they've worked hard to make it a nice place to go and we need shops like this to survive. They've got a good range of kids books if you're looking for something to keep them amused. Well worth a visit.

Review of The George

10 Apr 08, 14:01

Handy for the cinema 4*

The George is just by the multiplex - it's a good pub with a big menu and great service. Gets very busy so if the car park looks full, you'll be lucky to get a seat, but it's worth a try if you've never been there before.

Review of Sky Ford

Best place for Ford in the area 4*

These guys are really good, I got a car from them a couple of years ago and they did the deal efficiently, and their servicing was good as well.

Review of Costa Coffee

10 Apr 08, 13:56

One of Costa's best 4*

This is the favourite Costa I've been in - you can park just behind in the car park near Tesco, the staff are always cheerful, and although it gets very busy mid-morning it's a good place to grab a coffee and a sit-down.

Review of Ottakar's

10 Apr 08, 13:52

Now a Waterstones 4*

You'll find this Ottakars has become a Waterstone's now - it's full of staff who really seem to care about their jobs, they're really helpful and it's a lovely bookshop in a very nice town.

Review of Browns

10 Apr 08, 13:50

Good restaurant in a great location 4*

I don't think you can book a table at Browns but turn up early and you'll get a good place. The service is excellent, there's a good menu to choose from, and it's a favourite place to get a good meal in Bath.

Review of Cafe Rouge

Reliable 3*

This is a good, standard Cafe Rouge with friendly staff and their normal decent range of food and drink on the menu. On Milsom Street just up the hill from Waterstones.

Review of Crooked Billet

10 Apr 08, 13:44

Worth finding 4*

The Crooked Billet is hidden away from the main road - it's not far from the Pick Your Own place - but do try and find it because it's one of the nicest pubs in the area.

Review of Golden Pot

Great pub 4*

This is a really nice pub, with a friendly landlord and excellent beer. The food always looks good and it's got a great atmosphere. Good for a meal or just a quiet drink.

Review of Ship Inn

10 Apr 08, 10:23

An old favourite 3*

Don't know how long the Ship has been in Wokingham but it gives the impression that it's been there forever. It's one of the busiest pubs in town and is well worth a visit if you've never been before.
