Review of W H Smith

19 Apr 08, 19:39

One of their biggest 4*

W H Smith in Bath used to be over the road and further down, years ago, but they moved to these premises and they're huge, spread out over two big floors with an excellent range of pretty much everything you'd expect to get in Smiths. They could do with some new carpets, though.

Review of Fat Face Clothing

Worth popping in 4*

This is a trendy shop in a nice little part of Bath, it feels quite narrow and is on two floors, but they squeeze a decent range in at fair prices with good staff.

Review of Waterstone's

Excellent big store 4*

This is a large Waterstones on several floors, with an excellent range of books and good service. Perfect place to go shopping for books in Bath.

Review of Olive Tree

One of the best restaurants in Bath 5*

Can't recommend this one highly enough if you've got the money to spend on a posh meal out in Bath. Great food and service.

Review of Loch Fyne Restaurant & Oyster Bar

10 Apr 08, 18:09

Great fish food from a reliable chain 4*

This place used to be a bank, and it really feels like it from the big marble pillars inside. If you've been to a Loch Fyne and liked it, you won't be disappointed with this one. Great fish food from their reliable menu, and really helpful service.

Review of Bath Priory Restaurant

For a really upmarket meal 4*

This is a seriously classy place - so don't expect anything cheap or quick. If you fancy going upmarket, for top-class food in a stylish surrounding, this is the place for you.

Review of Browns

10 Apr 08, 13:50

Good restaurant in a great location 4*

I don't think you can book a table at Browns but turn up early and you'll get a good place. The service is excellent, there's a good menu to choose from, and it's a favourite place to get a good meal in Bath.

Review of Cafe Rouge

10 Apr 08, 13:47

Reliable 3*

This is a good, standard Cafe Rouge with friendly staff and their normal decent range of food and drink on the menu. On Milsom Street just up the hill from Waterstones.
