Good service 
This is a good, honest, reliable car dealer (and how often do you hear that being said) - over the years I've bought from here and more recently sold a car, and they were businesslike and straightforward.

The best around
They say that Bob's does the best fish and chips for miles around - it's certainly a good place for a quick takeaway, happy service, hot food and not expensive.

Good for sweets for the kids 
This place is fine, nothing special but with a good range of sweets. It's the one next to the fish and chip shop at the California Crossroads.

A good English pub
This is one of many pubs that claims to be the oldest one in England. Up by Finchampstead church, it's a good old-fashioned pub with reliable food and a nice atmosphere inside.

Review of The Greyhound

Closed for refurbishment 
The Greyhound is closed at the moment, I think they're waiting for planning permission for a full refurbishment. Apparently it's going upmarket when it re-opens, with a French-style gastro pub/restaurant.
