A good bar near the sea 4*

I like this place a lot - never eaten here, but if you want a nice wine-bar style place for a get-together by the sea, it's a great choice.

Nice atmosphere but pricey 3*

Good place to come for Sunday brunch, space to spread out the papers and tuck into a nice omlette and toast without getting hassled. Friendly service. Quite expensive.

Review of Blubeckers Eating House

Perfect place to go - the old Tally Ho 5*

This is the pub that used to be the Tally Ho, just on the bend in the road before you head from Berkshire into Hampshire and up towards Eversley. It's really good - excellent food and service, and if you've got children to feed, they'll make them really welcome. Book in advance because it gets very busy.

Review of The Chequers

Good local pub 3*

Just down a bit from the cricket ground, this doubles up as a good pub with plenty of little corners to hide away, and also a restaurant in a separate area which is very good value.

Review of Cooper Dean Arms Harvester

Cheap and convenient 3*

It's a good place to drop into if you need feeding in a rush, they'll look after you in there and the food's OK. It's not the best around, but it does the job.
