Belgian beers on Broadway Market 
Famed for its extensive menu of Belgian beers and exotic sausages served with mash, this dark, cosy pub has plenty of fairy-lit nooks and crannies to hide away in with the object of your affections. Food, though good, is slightly overpriced, and the place is usually rammed with Hackney hipsters, but it’s a very pretty pub to spend time in after a walk along Regent’s Canal.

Review of Yorkhall Leisure Centre

Gym that’s grim downstairs but pretty on the inside
York Hall Leisure Centre has the only 33m pool in Tower Hamlets, an 80 station fitness centre and two exercise studios. Don’t be put off by the decrepit and shabby appearance of the entrance hall, as the studios above are in mint condition – bright, airy, and with floor-to-ceiling mirrors so you can easily scope out your pelvic alignment during your Pilates lesson before admiring your abs at aerobics.
