Big but no atmosphere 
I was astounded by the size of the place when i first went, but when Franz Ferdinand started playing I was disappointed, not by the group, but the accoustics, they were pretty shoddy to be honest, at the back you could barely hear it, there was no atmosphere and no proper gig feel.
I'd go again but only if I could get near the front.

Review of Hammersmith Underground Station

Near Apollo 
Great location near the Hammersmith Apollo, the tube station is a bit run down and could do with a paint job but has shops surrounding it, as well as a good selection of bars and restaurants.
Served by the Hammersmith & City and Central Lines, plus a platform for District Line services taking you from West to East across London.
