Review of Nando's

12 May 08, 11:47

Busy 4*

This Nando's is the busier one out of the two in town, lots of people head in before a trip to the cinema or after skiing. It means you wait a little but the foods that good you don't mind.

You can choose how spicy you want your chicken, and you help your self to as much drink as you like.

Only problem i find is that its not table service you have to go up to the kitchen front and order.

Superb Choice 4*

What I lvoe about this Nando's is its a great location within the Hub, also its fairly quiet so service is superb and the staff are so friendly.

The food is delicious and the choice of desserts explains my stomach a bit!

Great Pasta... 4*

I love Italian food and these guys are always worth a visit, they make some great pizza too.

If I'm heading to Cineworld I try to make sure I don't eat as there are many great places to eat in the XScape building, but for me this is the best!

Cheek 3*

Not many bars cahrge to get in, but this is one of them, yeah its good but why they make you pay I don't know?

I tend to avoid, its full of people who have just turned 18 and they get quite rowdy.

Decent venue week nights though.

Review of Lloyds No. 1 Bar

22 Apr 08, 12:42

Buzzing 5*

Its one of the main bars in the theatre district, always busy and buziing on a night out, great atmosphere and wicked music with everything from old skool, cheese and r n b through to rock and hip hop.

The only problem is waiting time at the bar, but its that good you don't actually mind hanging on for a bit!

Cheese! 4*

If you love singing along to everything thats played after a few drinks on a night out this is the place in MK for you, you come away with a sore throat cos of all the singing you do.

Proper cheese from A-Ha, Ace Of Base and Whitney in one room then a proper chill oput in another, loads of bars so it doesn't take ages to get served, and its always a busy one!

Great Music 4*

If you love your funky house or r n b this is the perfect night out for you.

Downstairs the r n b room starts music from 8pm, with the funky house room opening upstairs from 9pm.

The theatre districts best music comes from this bar in my opinion, and the drinks ain't to pricey either.

Review of Xscape Centre

Airkix @ Xscape 5*

For my birthday I was bought an Airkix at Xscape, and as someone who's always wanted to do a parachute jump this si the nearest I could get for now!

If you're an adrenalin junkie like me then you'll love it, an hour of floating on air, its just the best feeling in the world.

I was a bit apprehensive to start with, but after having my first for 90 seconds I realised there was nothing to be afraid of so I just let myself go, literally, I leaarnt how to roll in the air, and am now looking to sign up to do my first real air jump for charity!

If you've ever fancied it, give it a go, its not as expensive as you think, and I'm living proof that anyone can do it!

I'll certainly be going back and I hoipe you're there too!
