Review of Griffin Public House

Everyone's talking about it
When I was living up North, I had actually heard ex Reading residents who I was working with talking constantly about the Griffin... Why?
It's a great place to hang out with Friends, for a chat, drink and food.
You wont be disturbed, find a table and get on with it. The food is largely ok, and they have a reasonable selection of Drinks.
The best bit is the fires in the winter, and the large outdoor area with views of the river in the summer...

Review of Zero Degrees Bar

Have I told you lately...
... That the beer here is good.
It's what's known as a micro brewery. Basically you can see all the beer being brewed in big barrels behind the bar. It can seem very busy in here, and you are very likely to have to stand... but it is a place that you will be stood next to nice people!
Pop into the restaurant for some food after... that nice, and very good value.
PS: For a drink after work it's perfect, happy hour 5-7pm with all pints £1.90, and its never too busy.

Review of Bills Produce Store

I would walk 1000 miles...
I live about an hour and a half away from Brighton... And Bills is one of those places that makes Brighton worth the journey.
No matter what you eat you feel healthy... Don't be put off by the huge queue, it will be worth the visit.

Review of Pickles & Potter

Wow, wow and wow
Simply the best sandwich I have ever had... and trust me, I've had a lot.
Amazing fillings, and it is just one of those places that makes you feel cool being in (whatever age you are)
It will be busy, with a queue out of the door but most of those will be take away, so if you want to sit down don't be put off... and people are happy to share a table!
Just go there, you'll love it.

Review of The Gorge Cafe

A proper fry up...
With the world so health concious these days, there are not many places that you can get a proper fry up... especially not one like the Gorge.
Really friendly, good food, and good prices.
Grab a paper, it's a great place to chill out any morning of the week...

Review of The Moderation

What a pleasant surprise
This Pub has been recently fully refurbished. I went in to see what it was like now, and was amazed at just how nice it was inside.
Beautifully decorated and as cliched as it sounds very friendly staff. So I stayed for some food, and that was amazing. Much better than your usual pub grub, proper home made burgers and chunky chips... And from the look of the other food I saw going past it was all very good.
I have been back... and definately recomend that you do.
