Cheap service they won't do 
The boys at Kwik Fit offer a oil service where they will change your oil and oil filter for £25. Oh no they won't just try and get them to do it. I ended up giving up after three attempts I tried this branch, Greenwich branch and another in the local area. Come back tomorrow I was told but when I did they were always busy.
I ended up getting my own mechanic to do the job. The parts at halfords come to £30.77 which included an air filter as well as the oil and oil filter and I gave the mechanic £30 for his trouble. No wonder Kwik Fit did not want to do the service it's a scam.

Cheap and rubbish bikes
I bought one of the cheap bikes at this shop a Mountain bike made in Vietnam. It was very poor quality the saddle would not stay in one position and the gears would never work properly and although it was only £60 it was poor value. The service was excellent in the shop I would take it in and they would repair it and once it was kept in over night so a new part could be fitted all for no charge. But eventually it was stolen as it was plainly rubbish I was not bothered.
The littlewoods catalogue has a bike for the same price made in India which gives no trouble at all, having had two of them, both stolen this is a far better bet.
Overall it shows that even if you are buying at the bottom of the market it is possible to still get a usable machine the ones sold at this shop are however not worth the bother. Kids will be dissapointed.

Review of New Cross Library

Crummy Library
This has to be the crummiest library around and I have been to loads of librarys. A boring selection of books never changing in the 3 years I have been in there, no DVD's and a few music cassettes. Five computers usually in use and that is about it. It opens every other day of the week that is tuesday, thursday and saturday.
The paint is peeling off the ceiling and it closes for lunch between 1 and 2. It must be kept open for the local's as no one would go there other wise.
