Nice meat! 
I am all for supporting my small local businesses and Sandy park Butchers are great. All meat comes from local farms and is much cheaper than the supermarkets and much better quality. Very good for the BBQ season if you want home made sausages and burgers!

Review of Sainsburys

Childrens garden gazebo 
Last Saturday as I prepared for a house full of guests to enjoy the first sunshine of the year and a sausage or two...it began to rain..Truly British! So we went to Sainsburys where they only had childrens gazebo's left. So we went home and my girl guide days came back to me as we reserected them to a higher ground by attaching the frames to guttering and trellasing - precisely engineered and very waterproof! Well worth £7.50!

If you don't want a haircut... 
Then go to A Head of Style. A fantastically Bristolian Hairdressers where the lady cutting my hair seemed to have a phobia of actually touching hair. She spent most of the time gossiping to all the other hairdressers about 'who done who' last night and managed to snip less than 1mm off my hair. It was all over in less than 3 minutes! On the plus side, if you really do only want a 'trim' this is the place to go!

Lovely hair!
Coco's hair in Downend is full of talented, friendly stylists. They really look after you in there and even though you have to book an appoitment weeks in advance, it's well worth the wait. They always do a great job. They were recommended to me by a friend and I have never gone anywhere else since I first tried them.

Yum Yum at home 
If you want a take away delivered to your door with a smile and cooked with fresh ingredients, this is the place to call. Their Thai, chinese and japanese menu is tempting, their service excpetional and tastes like no other take away I've had. Puts all others to shame.

Great customer service
Kellaway have 6 stores across Bristol and once you have been to one of them and experienced their knowledge and need to please the customer, you will never go to the likes of B&Q or Homebase again and try to take advice from a spotty 16 year old who knows nothing!

A hidden gem...
This moderate sized Somerfield tucked away in St Annes is great. Staff are really helpful (especially the old lady on the till who likes to shout orders at the managers!) They always open more tills so you never have to queue and its generally a pleasant supermarket experience.

Good menu..
Not such good service. The service was very slow for a lunch time - they must know most people are on a lunch hour! Took ages to get a drink and a long time for the food to arrive. On the plus side the menu was good and lots of things on there looked tempting!

Dirty racing and tank driving
This place is amazing. The range of activities from quad biking to tank driving, blind fold 4 x 4 driving, pilot racing and mental challenges is an amazing day out. Be prepared to get dirty and frustrated (in a good way!) by the challenges you are set. Great for team building or just playing with your buddies!!

Great carpets!
If you need a new carpet, Bristol carpet factory is a must go to! Massive selection, great service and they will come and measure up for you and fit most carpets or flooring within 3 days of you ordering. They are a great family run company and always happy to help.
