Kindertransport
This is a very moving story about one particular Jewish Family living in Nazi Germany in 1938 who chose to send away their daughter to escape persecution. 10.000 were transported and housed in schools or with foster parents. Eva/Evelyn is one such child and we see in this well constructed play how her life is effected.
The actresses are all very accomplished and give an excellent performance.

Very Friendly Atmosphere & Pretty Beer Garden
I stopped off here with my sister on the way back from Littlehampton and we had a lovely meal.
I had Rainbow Trout with new potatoes and vegetables and it cost £9.95 and my sister had Pollock & Chips which was £9.95, but unfortunately it was quite greasy as it was cooked in batter.
The beer garden is very pretty with lots of plants and ornaments and the staff are very friendly.

Review of Wey & Arun Canal Trust

Canal Trips 1/2 to 2 Hours in very Pretty scenary
We boarded the Zachariah Keppel a 50ft converted narrowboat licensed to take up to 30 passengers and had the boat virtually to ourselves for the 1/2 hour trip down the canal, which cost £4 per adult and £2 per child. Everyone else had booked to go on the 2 hour trip which was later and cost £10 each.
We were not disappointed, the children thoroughly enjoyed the experience especially going through the lock and seeing the water go down and up in stages.
It is an excellent venue with a pub alongside which serves good food although it stops serving at 2.30pm.
They are having a Special Christmas Boat Ride with Father Christmas.
