Review of The Phoenix Artist Club

wicked
Mental but amazing place under the Phoenix Theatre on Charing X Road.
Members only after 8pm but once you're in you're in - doors are at 5. If you want to join it's £120 standard but there are cheaper rates if you are in the arts darling! Various jobs get you in free also, hooray!
Old fashioned with walls covered in theatre posters and crazy people wandering about but it's brilliant and is open till 3am. You'll never get bored, and prepare yourself for the songs of the musicals played on a ropey old pa.
Honestly it's the best.

Review of Selfridges

Amazing
Selfridges is probably my favourite shop in London. You could wander around it all day looking at all the different things and not get bored.
My favourite floors are the basement which includes gadgets, technology, books, luggage and an HMV. What more could you want.
The young woman's section is very funky and occasionally has DJs playing. Plus who could ignore the amazing Food Hall - pure brilliance. Make sure you go to the Brass Rail for a salt beef sandwich - you only need a half!

Review of Red Dragon FM

ace
The best thing in Cardiff apart from John Barrowman's hairpiece.
Hot sexy presenters plus great music can only equal a great listening experience. Breakfasts are very funny. Can't live without Red Dragon.

Review of Essex FM

Hot
I love Essex FM. It's the only station to listen to when I'm in Essex.
The music is spot on and keeps me singing along. I'm particularly fond of the breakfast show with Martin and Su and of course the lunchtime show with Harvey Lee. Rumour has it he's amazing at knitting.

Review of Bags Bunny

Woo
Bags Bunny is legendary shop amongst locals. After all, the name itself is enough to encourage random passers by to venture inside to see what amazing things they can find.
If you don't love this shop you have no soul.

Review of Capital Radio
15 Apr 08, 19:02
Ace
I used to listen to Capital back in the summer of Des'ree, Spice Girls and Lighthouse Family.
Now I'm listening again and finding it as fun as I did back in the last century. The music is fun and up to date, and they've always got loads of competitions to win and do fun stuff.
My favourite DJ is Lucio. He sounds like a piece of hot totty.

Review of Comet Group

Shops
I love Comet. I often find they have the best staff.
But yes what can I really about a national chain. They are much the same. However i must say although I've only been to this Comet once it was very tidy and the staff were very helpful.

Review of Ben's Cookies
13 Apr 08, 18:04
Best cookies
This is just outside the shopping centre in Leamington and hard to resist when going back home.
The cookies are quite expensive but they are totally worth it. There's lots of different flavours but they are special because although crispy on the outside, the inside is all gooey and full of cookie dough. Ace.
I'm particularly keen on the white chocolate cookies. They're amazing!

Review of Trash Palace

booze
This is a brilliant alternative gay bar by Leicester Square. They have a cheap drink range and a 'no soho bollocks' policy.
There is always something different going on each night but it's famous for hosting the Popjustice parties on a Friday and Stardust on a Saturday, both of which are £3 in after 11.
It's also the place to go to buy queue jumps for Popstarz.
Staff are friendly and have an edge.

Review of Waitrose
12 Apr 08, 04:46
Amazing
This is the most amazing supermarket in the world. Located underneath Canary Wharf, the bottom floor is Waitrose and the 2 above a John Lewis.
The Waitrose is massive and is itself a good excuse to go to CW. Inside the food section there are about 6 different cafe bits all serving different food from sushi to steak to salad to chinese. It's got to be seen to be believed.
The food range is also brilliant and on the upmarket side. Expect Duchy bacon rather than value!
If you spend more than £10, you can get a parking token which gives you 2 hours parking for free. Alternatively it's just by Canary Wharf tube.

Review of Y Ming
10 Apr 08, 16:18
Best
The best Chinese I've found in London, Y Ming is located just between Shaftesbury Avenue and Old Compton Street.
It's always busy and it's pretty upmarket. The menu contains lots of amusing thing's like Mr Edward's Pork and Jonathan Millers seabass.
I would recommend the mixed starter and then the mango or the garlic chicken - absolutely lovely. Don't go to Chinatown, go just outside...

Review of Premier
10 Apr 08, 02:15
BEEP BEEP
The best cab firm in the world. Premier is a Blackpool tradition.
They are always really punctual, normally pick up the phone quickly and have a special locals line. Also make sure you also for a premier card when you're in the cab which will get you 10% off future journeys.

Review of Beigal Bake
10 Apr 08, 01:48
JEWISH LOVE
Make sure you go to the right bagel bakery. The first one from Bethnal Green Road is this one and the correct one. The one with the yellow sign is evil and puts bacon inside a bagel.
HOW WRONG IS THAT. Don't put illegal meat in Jewish bread. Jeez.
This bagel place is yummy and so ridiculously cheap it's hard to get your head around. Salt beef bagels are great late at night but it is like eating a whole raw cow. For lunch a £1.20 smoked salmon & creme cheese is unbeatable.

Review of Malmaison
09 Apr 08, 17:49
Fine Liverpool
I loved my one night stay in Malmaison. The hotel is just down from the Albert Dock and is very black from the outside.
Feels like it should be in New York instead of Liverpool but Liverpool charm means you get better service! Everything is very swooshy.
The rooms are very stylish and the bathrooms are amazing. The shower is opposite the toilet in one long strip though which I loved but some people might not.
If you're after a traditional hotel room then don't bother, but if you want to be wowed - this is the place.

Review of Fire and Stone
09 Apr 08, 17:38
Yummy Pizza
Probably my favourite pizza in London, Fire & Stone takes a different slant on pizza.
All the options are named after cities and the toppings represent that city. The base is pretty thick and the toppings pile on. Small potato pieces on a pizza may sound odd but trust us it works. The Canberra is my favourite.
They often have big offers on so it's worth checking their website or toptable.

Review of The Ghetto
09 Apr 08, 17:13
Brilliant Night Out
A great gay club situated in a basement down an alley that smells of wee.
Every night has a different theme from pop to indie to college rock to electro to dance.
Prices are pretty cheap for Soho and they have great drinks offers. Staff are alternative and friendly and that's the general ethos, it's meant to be a place to avoid the cliched bitchy gay scene
