Alledgely one of the flattest courses in the South West which a true golfer ( not me ) may say is a little boring. Quite a hard course, but as it is right by the sea, it is exposed. Has a road running through it, so often tourists may wander onto the outskirts of the course.. Club house is lovely and if you are a golfer this is a must place to visit.

keep fit
Tucked away behind a housing estate, this is a really popular sport club that has cricket, footie and all other types being run from there. Everytime I have visited it i was awalys greated with a warm welcome even though i was the opposition

'tis a good un
THis is a really old fashioned classy joint, which i have been in a couple of times. Only problem i found it was not in the town centre and was a walk up pilton street hill to get to it.. however if you can walk there or drive there its worth it

gotta job mister? 
Same as the other erview when i lived in Exeter i called in on this company looking for work on a temp basis. I was met with someone who didn't really appear to care atal about me and i didn't feel confident about leaving my personal CV there. I have tried other branches in North Devon and they seem to have the same lack lustre attitude.

get those kids looked after
Wow i was glad to see this on here. I always used to send my son here in holdays when i was working. They used to base thems elves at Bideford East The Water School for the Biddy kids and Athos who runs it is just great. All the kids mixed well and were well looked after. Great place to act as a holiday club, they also take them out on outings which are well supervised. Being going along time and are good!

Very over priced and small portions.. Possibly they feel that being in this location can command the higher prices but i won't go there any more as there are better places at better prices within 2 minutes walk

ideal if you are short of sommit
As the other review says it does stock its own brand but its cheap and if you need that item you fogot it is open during anti social hours, so that is why it trades so well. Every time i have been in there the staff have been fine and i have always found what i wanted

gotta agree 
THis fancy dress shop is run out of the owners home ( well her refurbished barn.. ) and has alot of stuff, and if you ring her first she always has it ready for you when you turn up. Quite a hard place to find but Janey who runs this place is GREAT. Between Christmas and New year they will hire a shop in Bideford town to may access easier you

pain of a place to get to in a car, but has been in this line of business for along time and stocks nearly verything you can think of, and i do love going in here, Beware the prices for hiring are steep!
