feeling hungry 
Wow I was pleased to see this place in the reviews. It's great and serves east the water houses really well. I have been in there quite a few times in last few months and have always found it fresh and tasty with lovely staff.

If you fancy a day out on the tarka trail and don't have a bike then go here and hire one. They havea great selection and as another review said look after their equipment realy well. I have hired bikes from here. can't remeber the exact cost but it didn't seem that steep.

no meat on their bone! 
yet again another one that has bitten the dust and had to close as it couldn't compete witht he supermarkets and thier cheaper meat. Such a shame as it was a good shop, though most of the butchers were in a different street, so maybe they lost out on location aswell

bit of a fan
I do love this store.. the minute you walk in the door the smell of the flowers just hits you ( hoping you are not a hayfever sufferer! ) It does look a bit messy but the lady and gentleman that work there are passionate about their business and work very hard. Parking is a pain but they do deliver!

If you are a record buff this was the place to go to look through all their vinyl stock and source some great tunes that you had forgotten about. Downloading nowdays is a good thing but then shops like this can't compete can they?

A lovely book shop that does its best to compete with the main chains but has that special feel when you walk in there. I love looking at the books and if you can't se what you want the staff will do thier utmost to source it for you. PLEASE buy from here to keep this local shop going!

Actually you can't help but really like the staff that work here. they are hardworking and full of fun and even though they always seem to have greasy hands I like going here if only for the banter whilst they do tyre changes for me

still a place to go
I disagree with the other reviews.. to me it is still special. It trys to compete with the supermarket boxes of choccies and trys to be different.. with their selection. If you want something different go here becuase you will find different sorts of sweets and this makes a lovely present ( hint hint... )

Actaully this is called Cowilngs now and is run soley by Jenny witha fenale team behind here. A good estate agent that knows their stuff. Small office but very helpful girls in the office and Jenny is a very honest hardworking estate agent.. rare in this industury
