Not too sure why this comes under mechanics as i thought Chris was a handy, odd job around the house, man! Everyone to their own ... I am sure he will do a good job for anyone that employs him though it may be worth finding out his qulailifcations first!

up the barum boys 
this club is flying high at the mo.. the seniors are potentially going to get promoted again and their junior section is really getting some fab results.. espicailly the U11's who are off to Twickenham for a cup final and are Devon champions 2008. Success will breed success.. though the club house has a great atmosphere and lots of people getting involved in the running of the club. I love it there!

biddy boys
always the under dogs to their neighbours at Barnstaple. Nice bunch of guys there and they do have a junior section, which is very popular.. though if you want to play serious very competitive rugby you will end up at BarnstapleRFC

quite an old building and dated inside though they are trying to refurb as they go. Home of Torridgeside Swimming Club.. but provides a basic pool for swimming for the town.

house selling
the biggest agent in town. so if you are wanting to buy or sell you will look at them first.. they are negotiable on fees and always want to sell.. so are keen.. won't over value your house either.. Good ratio of staff for all customers

It always amuses me when you ring them up and they shout down the phone.. "wot you want??" bless them.. Actually great for takeaway though there is a resturant as well. Always had great food from here!

Swim Jim
As this is the only swimming pool in Bideford area it is very popular. It has a gym on site aswell, so is ideal for when kids are swimming for parents to use gym facilities.. Pool has outside activites alot of the time so its worth checking thier timetable before going down there on the off chance! Very good and clean facilities

if you live in an inner city this would be a great place to stay as over looks the sea.. caravans seem a bit worn and tired from the outside but for a cheaper holiday they are probably ideal. The facilities at the club house are good though and often hold local events
