gotta agree 
This fancy dress shop is run out of the owners home ( well her refurbished barn.. ) and has a lot of stuff, and if you ring her first she always has it ready for you when you turn up. Quite a hard place to find but Janey who runs this place is GREAT. Between Christmas and New year they will hire a shop in Bideford town to may access easier you

The famous Joy
This place has a good reputation and Joy is probably the reason why. It is a smallish office with a few staff but boy do you get the personal touch. They offer the same products as other mortgage shops, but with this plcae you get a great professional service which is worth everything

Local radio at its best. All the staff are great and very friendly and work VERY hard to keep the public entertained. They have a great outside braodcasting unit in Thunder who just loves to go to as many events as possible. It's all about me, me, me! Seriously great radio station so make sure you listen to them / us!

Love it, love it, love it
This has just gone under a major refurbishment and has got to be the best Chinese ever.. well in my opinion. The owners are two very nice pople who are such good fun and have created a fab place. If there are ever any celebs in the area they go here which says alot fot his place.. go visit and i defy you not to do a great review and be very surprised how reasonably priced their food is

I have nothing but praise for this company. It is not the vet i have signed on with as i live in the next door town, but in the middle of the night this was the one vet who came and met me at the surgery, to check my cat over who was having trouble breathing. Yes it costs me an arm and a leg but as i had insurance i was able to claim it back.. so all in all this is a great vetinary practice and i would highly recommend it to anyone in this area. They have other clincs at Braunton and Ilfracombe.. wish they would move to Bideford

When i worked in Bideford i lived in here.. they do a wide variety of lunches inlcuding delicious pasties. There is always a queue lunchtime so get early or be prepared to wait.. though the staff DO THEIR VERY BEST TO SERVE YOU ASAP

love it, love, love it.. the best place in the whole of Bideford. Great place, plenty of space, beer / smoking graden which is under cover, dance floor and access during day to resturant for food. Most people saty here for the night

this club is flying high at the mo.. the seniors are potentially going to get promoted again and their junior section is really getting some fab results.. espicailly the U11's who are off to Twickenham for a cup final and are Devon champions 2008. Success will breed success.. though the club house has a great atmosphere and lots of people getting involved in the running of the club. I love it there!

best in the west
this pub is only 5 minutes walk from where i live.. so it's automatically top of my list.. but it is very popular for a reason.. it has a great landlord, and does really great food and plenty of it.. which is VERY kid friendly with lots of indoor and outdoor facilities for the little treasures alowing you time to enjoy your beer and food!

where do you go after a few beers and need something to eat..? you got it this keebab shop.. actually it's one of the best, not only selling yee olde famous Donna but Pizza's ( much to annoynace of next doors pizza shop ) burgers and such.. The guys that work in there are really hard working and nice and have to put up with alot from the drunk British public..I must admit I know the owner really well so maybe i am a little biased!

another family run business that deals in domestic and commercial electrical works. Really nice people work for them and they are very good at thier job , quick and reasonably priced. Always seem busy, so you may not get a call out as quickly as you may hope but that is becuase they are one of the best companies in this area!

family run business which has become very sucessful.. tends to deal more in commercial electrics i.e. working with builders but still has electricians that can do domestic type work aswell. Has a light shop as well, but is running this down to concentrate of the electrical fitting side as this is really taking off.

having spent many a year competing at this club I love it.. It has one of the best facilities for rowing in the South West and is complimented with a great club houseand reduced priced drinks from the bar. Lovely place for families.. run by a committee of long standing members
