This hairdressers has been going a long time and they have a very good local trade and as the other review states it does tend to be every end of the scale. If you can't get an appointment in your usual place try this out, you may be pleasantly surprised

Linked to the health centre and dentist in Northam, this shop will havea captive audience.. and serves a good purpose. Clean tidy and helpful staff that try to serve you as quick as they can

a pub in name only? 
I have been here a few times but each time i kinda didn't like it in there.. I only live in the next door village but was made to feel a little uncomfortable as wasn't totally local. Place is in need of an update, though the locals seem to like it as it is.

getting better
Nadine the Landlady took overlast year and is starting to build up a good local trade. Place looks a bit tacky from the outside but on Sundays there is the famous karioke night which is popular with ye olde locals. Keep up the good work Nadine

Like the other reviews have said a small business in Northam, that i looked in when i was lloking to buy for my wedding, but didn't like anything i found there. Staff were nice but maybe need to update their stock a little

Swim Jim 
As this is the only swimming pool in Bideford area it is very popular. It has a gym on site aswell, so is ideal for when kids are swimming for parents to use gym facilities.. Pool has outside activites alot of the time so its worth checking thier timetable before going down there on the off chance! Very good and clean facilities
