Alledgely one of the flattest courses in the South West which a true golfer ( not me ) may say is a little boring. Quite a hard course, but as it is right by the sea, it is exposed. Has a road running through it, so often tourists may wander onto the outskirts of the course.. Club house is lovely and if you are a golfer this is a must place to visit.

Knowing the owner means i know how much hard work they put into running this place. It's always busy even in winter which says alot for it, and there is nothing better than takeaway fish and chips from thsi place and then sitting on the beach ( 50 yeards away ) and eating them!

great local shop
For residents of westward Ho! this is the place to get your bakery items. The staff are great and do like to chat but thats good as it makes you feel special. Yes in the summer there are alot of tourists around but they possibly won't mind if they share the floor with us locals

if you live in an inner city this would be a great place to stay as over looks the sea.. caravans seem a bit worn and tired from the outside but for a cheaper holiday they are probably ideal. The facilities at the club house are good though and often hold local events

odd that he comes under the category of estate agent as what he does is advise people about how to sell thier property and charges for this... though he has to go through an estate agent to actually get it sold.. may pay you to cut out the middle man and go strisght to the estate agents!

great lunchtime food
i love this restuarant with its great cavery but it does get busy in the summer as right in the heart of Westward Ho!.. so you need to book! Fab chef in Dave Cousins

giddy up
when my son was learning to ride we went here regularly.. and it was great for him as there is an arena for him to use and most of the learning ponies are very placid. However if you are an experinced rider there aren't that many rides that i liked.. worth trying them though

best in the west 
this pub is only 5 minutes walk from where i live.. so it's automatically top of my list.. but it is very popular for a reason.. it has a great landlord, and does really great food and plenty of it.. which is VERY kid friendly with lots of indoor and outdoor facilities for the little treasures alowing you time to enjoy your beer and food!

it's gotta be cricket
many a summer day lazing on the green watching local cricket... this club is ideally situated beside the beach though sometimes the go-karting track behind can be a real pain - noise wise.. Seemes like a very friendly club encouraging youngsters to enjoy this game!
