chilli heaven 
if you love mexican food then this is the place to hunt out. Located in a small road off the Strand.. it has a great resturant, thogh it would be advisable to book as its rather popular in the evenings.. Great food

yummy
lovely food, service and really nice atmosphere. Local food served if possible and very popular with locals, which is always the best recommendation for a resturant. Can be a bit pricey but worth it as a treat

chick, chick little chicken 
My son loves the chicken pieces here more so than KFC in Barnstple. Genrous portions and i always find the staff really nice and helpful, though i do feel they get a hard time from a minority of the public as they are Turkish which is really harsh!

great lunchtime food
i love this restuarant with its great cavery but it does get busy in the summer as right in the heart of Westward Ho!.. so you need to book! Fab chef in Dave Cousins
