Yummy Thai food 3*

This place does yummy thai food at reasonable prices. It's also a great drinking venue. When the weathers nice it gets packed in the outside area but this helps create a lively, buzzy atmosphere.

Review of The Porterhouse

Fruity beers 3*

The porterhouse has a great range of beers aspecially the fruit flavoured ones. They do a lovely pint of Fruli and the cherry beer is pretty tasty. This pub is massive but does get packed after work so can be difficult to get a seat. Great central location.

Review of The Garrick Arms

The Ghastly Garrick 1*

There's only one reason why I keep going to this pub and that's because it's opposite work. You get a good work crowd in there on Friday nights but the drinks are overpriced and the service isn't the best. It has a traditional boozer feel and great central location but those are the only 2 redeeming features. I haven't tried the food so can't comment on that but Its not somewhere I'd recommend unless you wanted to go somewhere for a quick drink before the theatre next door

Review of The Chandos

Cheap and cheerful 2*

A great central location for drinks after work, this pub serves the cheapest pints in this part of town. It does get very busy and since the smoking ban the upstairs room can smell a bit of farts! The toilets could do with updating too!

Review of Palmerston

Gastropub 4*

This is one of my favourite places to eat. It's a Gastro pub with the better tables in the back section. The food is delicious and tends to have seasonal specialties. The desserts are amazing and you get generous portions. It is more expensive than standard pub grub but the quality of the food makes it worthwhile.

Review of Bear and Staff Pub

Traditional style pub 3*

This is a great traditional boozer right in the centre of London. They do yummy sausage and mash with about 8 different types of sausages to choose from and very healthy portion sizes. The pub is quite small and quiet so somewhere to go for a more relaxing lunch than a buzzy atmosphere
