Review of Captain Kidd
21 May 07, 10:56
An enjoyable, laid back, oldeworld pub.
The Captain Kidd is rather special. A Samuel Smiths pub, and therefore no major branded alcohol on tap, it's a converted warehouse and often full of lots of locals relaxing around the bar. It has a spacious outdoor seating area which will definately be worth a visit in the Summer, and is equally open indoors with vast seating areas. Situated on the river in Wapping, it is definately somewhere to trek to. Literally two minutes left of the tube station, it is the sort of pub to really grow an affection for. It's just a shame they stop serving food at 3pm.
