First ever radio broadcast.. 
This is the site where Marconi tested his radio broadcasts - from the mainland to the small island off shore. I think they celebrated this fact by building a pub. Quite a nice one too, good in the summer for al fresco dining and drinking. Well worth a visit.

Fillings surrounded by a bread like substance
This is a baguette shop. If you like baguettes, I think you should go there. They have plenty of fillings. None of the staff speaks French.

Top Banana 
This place is amazing, real traditional feel and the food is fantastic. Located on the top of a mountain, has great views and a cricket pitch!

Review of The Wharf

Good Boozer
The Wharf is situated in Cardiff Bay and was one of the first to be built under the redevelopment. It's a Brains pub, has their usual beers and wines on offer plus the standard menu. Has a comedy night which gets some fairly decent acts. If you are in the Bay I think you should definitely check it out.

Fishy
This is a fairly decent restaurant which is tucked away on the Hayes in Cardiff. You'll be surprised at the size of it when you walk down the stairs. Specialises in fish.

Not the real CIA
The CIA is your run of the mill arena located in the centre of Cardiff. It plays host to all the touring stadium bands, conferences, exhibitions etc. Holds up to 8000 for an all standing show. The sound is terrible as are the queue's at the bar.

Try Not To Get Lost
This place is massive, I mean huge, it's just keeps on going which can be a good thing if you are hiding or a bad thing if you can't remember where you put your mates. Another Brains pub, good selection of beers, standard Brains menu, a good 'sunday' pub.

Stay between the lines!
One of the more bizarre tactics used in bar to keep walkways clear, I guess in the long run it is good for health and safety but to be told to stay between the lines whilst in a boozer is most peculiar! Run of the mill type sports bar, a million screens showing all manner of sports, gets rammed on international days, also has a tendancy for tourists because of its location. Serves mainly crap fried food.

Straight down the line enormous breakfasts, you'll find a mix of students and professionals. Good location plus they do other dishes which are fairly good.

Best Coffee in Cardiff
Probably the best coffee in Cardiff, far superior to that Starbucks 2 minutes away. Chilled surroundings, very good service and is not owned by an evil multi national corporation.
